The Best Hair Masks to Try Today

Hi Lovelies!

For any dad’s that read my blog or for the mama’s out there that have to be both, Happy Fathers Day! Today I am enjoying the day with family and working with my sister, Allyson, on a blog post for all of y’all! This one comes directly from her — she’s our little hair health guru.

For months she’s been focused on getting those luscious locks and she’s been kind enough to put some of her favorite hair mask recipes together for all of you:

Ally - “I don’t usually measure the ingredients, I eyeball and use the amount that I know works for my hair. I heat all of the below recipes in the microwave for around 10-20 seconds and let it cool for about a minute, but it should still be relatively warm when you apply it. I typically leave the mask on for around 3-4 hours at a time, but if you don’t have that kind of time, 30 minutes works just as well!”

  1. Straight olive oil

  2. Straight coconut oil

  3. Coconut oil (or olive oil), cinnamon, honey, water (just enough to dilute the honey a little), a few drops of apple cider vinegar

  4. Keratin (you can find this at Sally’s Beauty Supply), coconut oil, Vitamin E oil

  5. Olive oil, Jojoba Oil, and shea butter

  6. Coconut oil (or olive oil), and shea butter

  7. Cinnamon, shea butter, vitamin E, coconut oil (or olive oil)
