4 Bikinis for Your Holiday Wishlist

bikini gift guide

From Left to Right:

Maaji, Beach Bunny, L*Space, Seafolly

I know that for most the holidays remind you of hot coco, snuggling up by a fireplace and watching snow fall but for anyone close to the equator it’s all sunshine and palm trees. This post is for those lucky enough to see some white sand on their Christmas morning. Forget dashing through the snow, beach beauties. Prance along the sand dunes in these four flirty swimsuits.

Maaji Seashorse Ride Suit- Maaji calls their swimsuits ‘unique’ but I strongly dislike that word. I’m unique, you’re unique, this day is unique. Unique is not a unique term. I am going to deem Maaji a ‘quirky’ brand. They make bathing suits with teacups and cat prints (as well as seashells, seahorses, and flowers). If Maaji swimsuits were a celebrity they would probably be Zooey Deschanel. I love this Seashore Ride suit because it is slightly sexy and definitely fun but practical enough for active beach goers. Paddle board, surf, swim, run, play volleyball—whatever, this bathing suit is going to stay put.

Beach Bunny Good Girl Suit– You won’t see cats or teacups on a Beach Bunny suit. This brand is all about their hot little numbers. With strings galore, skimpy cheeky bottoms and a bedazzled triangle top I am not sure what makes this suit the “Good Girl.” Possibly the tame floral print? Whatever the reason I must be a tame lady because I love the blue roses on a warm orange-pink background and the braided ties. Back in my intern days in Los Angeles I actually worked one of BB’s first fashion shows. The line has changed a lot from their beginnings which I think is for the beast! Their new collection ‘Bronze’ is definitely worth a whole other post. However, these bikinis are not for the timid.

L*Space Dolly Fringe Top and Estella Bottoms– L*Space has become known for their iconic fringe top. Many other brands have tried copying the look but L*Space is still holding first place in the fringe competition. I love the purple ombre of this bandeau top and the simple black cut-out bottoms. Fringe makes frolicking much more fun.

Seafolly Kiara Envy Bandeau I had to pick something that would be appropriate to wear on Christmas. This emerald Seafolly suit would look perfectly festive for a holiday beach party. I would wear this with my red Raybans for the ultimate Christmas beach outfit. For post-holidays I could see this as a killer glamour-girl suit with cat eye sunglasses and a chic cover-up.

Which one is your favorite? I can’t decide, which is a totally Libra thing to say.
